Photography has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. For many years , I would ask for a camera for Christmas, fascinated by the idea of being able to freeze time in a single image. I loved the thought of capturing a moment and holding onto it forever, not just in memory but in a photograph I could see and share.
On December 28, 2024, that dream finally began to take shape when I purchased my very first camera. I’ll be honest—I didn’t put much thought into it. I walked into the store, saw one on sale, and decided to go for it. At the time, I had no intentions of starting a business. My plan was simple: take pictures of myself, my family, and the moments that mattered to me. But little did I know, that decision would be the start of something far bigger than I could have imagined.
From the beginning, I was surrounded by an incredible community who encouraged me to grow. Friends and family allowed me to practice with them, gave me honest feedback on my sessions and editing, and most importantly, stood by my side through the ups and downs of learning. Their support turned what I thought would be a small hobby into something that has become a true passion and now, a business.
In the early days, I took on free sessions for my friends and even captured sports moments at my high school. I didn’t charge a dime because I was just excited to learn and practice. But those sessions were priceless—they gave me hands-on experience, helped me develop my own style, and taught me the importance of connecting with the people in front of my lens.
Of course, the journey wasn’t always easy. There were times I doubted myself, questioned my abilities, and even thought about walking away from photography altogether. Learning the craft takes patience, practice, and persistence, and there were moments I wondered if I was cut out for it. But every time I pushed through those doubts, I came out stronger. Looking back at my earliest work compared to where I am now, the growth feels surreal.
Photography has demanded my time, money, and energy, but it has been worth every ounce of the investment. Each photo I take is a reflection of not just a moment, but of the hard work, learning, and passion I’ve poured into this journey. To have people recognize and appreciate that effort is something I’ll never take for granted.
What began as a dream has now become my reality. Photography is more than just pictures for me—it’s storytelling, memory-keeping, and art all in one. And I’m beyond grateful to be able to share that with others. My hope is that when you step in front of my camera, I can bring your vision to life and turn your dream photoshoot into memories you’ll cherish forever.
